Most of the trips we offer are either bottom fishing over artificial reefs, trolling the near shore waters along Perdido Key to Gulf Shores or out in the Gulf Of Mexico for big game trolling species.
The longer your trip, the more opportunities you will have to land trophy sized fish and more quantity so there is a direct correlation between hours booked and the sucessof you trip.
Most of the time we will have to ride some distance offshore before we arrive the fishing grounds. The reason for this, is because we have reefs to fish from seven miles all the way out to seventy miles. The closer you to shore that you fish, means more pressure. The further away from shore can mean that you have a chance to catch bigger ones but this is not always true but it seems logical.
However trolling for spanish and king mackerel there is little riding to the fishing grounds as these trip you will start fishing just out side of Perdido Pass.

Knowing what your doing and how to get the job done always helps. We sometimes run as many as 200 days a year and this helps us keep up with where the bite is and how to catch them. Another piece of information is to listen to your mates, they have been fishing more this year than most people fish in a life time.
The most popular trips for families are the 4 hour and 6 hour adventures. On most six-hour trips you will fish for Red Snapper, Triggerfish, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Redfish and many other species as well. On the 4 hour trolling trip you will be anywhere from just a few miles offshore to as far as 10 miles and on the 6 hour trip we usually stay inside 20 miles.

The most premiere trip we off is the overnight trips. This usually ideal for groups and corporations that want to experience the ultimate in adventure. departing at 6 am allows us to catch fresh live bait and the bottomfish our way offshore to the moreproductive areas to spend the night and have fun!

If we head offshore on an overnight fishing trip to the oil rigs and the water color is dirty or cloudy due to excessive rainfall or river run off, we can always head over to an oil rig and fish for Amberjack. We often go deep drop fishing for deep water grouper and other species or maybe do some Swordfish fishing all in effort to ensure you have a good catch of fish to return home with.
