Family Fun Fishing Trips for kids of all ages!
The most popularcharters are trips of four and six hours in length. The 4 hour fishing charter is ideal for families that want to enjoy a few hours on the water without spending a lot of money. Six hour charters are great for those who want to take the entire family. Both of these trips are either morning or afternoon trips and the types of fishing done can be custom tailored to your family's experience level or to what types of fish happen to be biting the best.
6 hour trips
A 6 hour trip id the shortest trip we have that allows bottom fishing. This is where everyone can fish at one time and have fun while picking on their buddies or helping the kids! The closest public artificial reefs are about seven miles offshore. Since these reefs are closest to shore, they see a lot of fishing pressure from a lot of recreational boaters and some charter boats.
What is that on the bottom that we are fishing on?
The privately built reefs we have are just a little further offshore and are only fished by us. Well hopefully any way! Years and years of hauling artificial reefs out into the Gulf has promoted habitat for many different types of marine animals and fish. These reefs are a lot like farming they offshore waters, you don't want to take too many or not enough that if you take care of mother nature she will take care of you. The end result is you get a better trip for your family when you fish with people who give back to the resource
